But in this speach, the unusual metaphor is powerful and sincere and heartwarming. And it shows that these writers really understand the character of Holt and the nature of love, and that they are very, very good at their craft.

I have NOT given Natsu enough credit. From the very beginning I said “you can’t think the main character is hot for once” well…i lied to myself. Natsu IS attractive, and strong, and funny, and so caring. It’s hard to NOT love him. He deserves better than Lucy but hey, you can’t pick who you love.
